Carol met Robert Richeson at the Mt. Charleston Ski Area. They were married in 1961. They lived in Montana, Reno, and California over the years. Robert passed away in 2009. Carol has two children - a son Robert (who is a pulmonology doctor in Reno and daughter Kimi. She is currently living in Stead, near Reno, with her daughter. She has 3 grandsons.
